Sumrall, James Vining

James was born 4 Oct 1864 in Bosque Co.  He married Viola Ross near Fairfield Tex in Freestone County.  He was a blacksmith and farmer.  He was approximately five feet, 10 inches tall with brown hair and gray eyes.  One son  died in infancy.  James died in San Anglo after a long illness.  He was a deacon in the southern Baptist Church at Rocky, 3 miles from Iredell, Tex on Rocky Creek.

Abilene to Sweetwater, Texas and at one time was a relay station just before James bought the place.
